This beautiful book was so easy to follow that I was making intermediate hats right away.  It takes you from knowing nothing to feeling empowered. My Dad's 80th birthday party was a gas! Thanks to the balloon hats I made! Everyone loved them and was talking about them for a couple of weeks. And, several people wanted to know where they could get a kit to make balloon hats for their kids/family. I really enjoyed making them and sharing them with everyone. Let me just tell you, that since I purchased your book and started making hats for the teachers' birthdays at the elementary school where I am the principal, I have had the greatest time. The kids love it, the teachers love it, and the parents love it. It sure does beat the boring birthday cards I use to put in their boxes. I appreciate the inspiration.

I must tell you what a huge success the balloon theme was. Even the adults were impressed and started making hats too, for themselves. Although I didn't have time to practice, (can't do the curly ones yet) the children were still very happy with what I did make.
